El Shaddai - The Orphanage

The Vision is to house 2000 orphans. This is to be done by faith in God. Our belief is that God can heal AIDS today. Most of these chidlren will come from AIDS related families, probably having lost their parents to AIDS. It is envisioned that we will build 200 houses , such as the above, to house 10 orphans. This non profit making company is a charity and all the money goes to the orphans. No government agency is involved and all the work is done by weeded out and proved, (by God) born again Christians.
In Swaziland, Mbabane Hospital in their admissions, tested 4 out of every 5 admitance to be HIV positive. Conditions here are the worst in Africa, but God can change all that.

Friends of Mulanje Orphans

Friends of Mulanje Orphans ( FOMO ): FOMO was established in 2000 to aid Orphans in Mulanje, a district of Malawi, Africa. The seeds of the idea for the formation of FOMO stemmed from the many harrowing stories relayed back to Mary Woodworth from her friends and relatives still living in her home village in Mulanje. During a visit early in 2000, Mary and Keith were able to see and hear of the desperate plight of many of the local Children.
Determined to make the idea of FOMO a reality, Mary contacted relatives and friends who over the years had been helping many orphaned children. From this small beginning FOMO became a reality and aims to provide and enhance the health, education, food security, meet the basic human needs and develop the potential of all the needy and orphaned children of Mulanje.

The name of our Orphanage is "Living Hope Orphanage home". This was started with 2 children. Now became 30 children. I am totally depended on local contributions only. But all our people are very poor and no offerings are coming from the church. Now I became helpless and thus searching for a Godly person like you. Children are aged from 3 to 12 years. Those are all sweet little kids. Due to my disability they are being half starved and are crying in their midsleeps also. This is my present situation.

GOM Human Welfare Center Orphanage - India

We have a team of pastors and evangelical women of the Bible, doing the Lord's work. We reach rural, tribal and coastal areas. In a month we visit a number of villages. We arrange street meetings, seminars and conventions. Church planting is the main activity of our Gospel work, and relief and development work. Many of our pastors do not have any houses and also they have no constructed churches. They conduct the prayers in thatched houses, under trees and sometimes on the side of the road. But we are steadfast to see that the Lord's work is done. We have no any connected with any organization and we have no support from anywhere Outside.
We have an orphanage in which we are looking after 30 children when we found them they were unsheltered and away from comfort and parental love. We collect donations from our fellow Christians to meet their needs. We need some generous sponsors to take up the care of at least one or them. In fact, their condition is very pathetic. Please remember them in your regular prayers. Allow me to tell you about the orphanage system, and explain to you about the existing conditions of orphaned children in India. Here, these orphan are increasing day by day at a rapid rate. Because of their family disorganized conditions, in the lapse of their beloved parents, and due to the diastase conditions of natural calamities, these orphans are a generation on geometrical progression. Here these group of victims called as "parking boys", "young rascals", and as "pousin".

Jesus Christ orphan home

I am pastor Baburao from bapatla town, Andhra pradesh state, south India. Bapatla is also a parliament Constituency and well noted in India and abroad.

I am saved by his grace while I was very young in the year 1979 and baptized in the year 15-09-1979, Mark 16:16

I obeyed his high calling to preach the Gospel to the un-reached heathen in India and surrendered my self to the lord. I completed my theological training in “Maranatha Bible Training Institute”, Madras and the lord guided me to start my Evangelistic work in Bapatla. Baptla town is not my native place and I was new to that area. The lord outpoured his spirit and many heathen saved and a church established.

Presently besides the church and Gospel ministry the lord guided me to establish an Orphan home. I started this with all faith and with no sponsorship. The lord blessed me with four children and they are also working with me for the lord still they are very young. Pray for all my ministry. Church and family also for this orphan home. I request you to pray and sponsor a child or more as the lord directs guides you.

Our orphan home:
Our orphan home presently accommodates 30 children who are away from parental love and care. It requires approximately 20$ to look after a child for to feed and to provide them good education besides providing all hygienic conditions.

Ashanilaya Orphanage

MASARD (Mass-based Association for Social Service and Rural Development)
1201/B, Mittal Towers, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Bangalore – 560 001, Karnataka State, India
Telephone: 91-080-25585467 E-mail: welgifts@vsnl.com

In 2004, MASARD established Ashanilaya orphanage at Egipura in Bangalore. Poor sanitation, inadequate housing, illness, poverty and an unsafe environment all contribute to the need for care of a large number of children living in Bangalore’s slums. All of the children cared for at Ashanilaya are orphans, have been abandoned by the parent/s or do not have relatives that are able to adequately care for them.

Ashanilaya currently cares for 20 orphaned children and employs three full time staff to provide 24 hour care. All of the children are educated at a nearby school and have the opportunity to take part in activities such as dancing, singing and sports at the orphanage under the supervision of Ashanilaya staff. The children stay at the orphanage until they have completed their studies and are able to join the workforce.

All of the staff and volunteers at Ashanilaya help to create an atmosphere where the children can feel at home. Ashanilaya endeavours to:

Make the children feel wanted and loved
Provide a safe and secure environment
Provide guidance and support
Encourage healthy habits and humanistic values
Make it possible for the children to imagine a better future for themselves

Until recently, Ashanilaya had been relying on the generous contributions of members and staff of MASARD who have been contributing part of their monthly salaries to the cause. In addition to this, eight children at Ashanilaya receive monthly/yearly contributions from their sponsors to meet the costs of education, food, healthcare etc. However, at present the funds received through these means is inadequate to meet the day-to-day running costs of the orphanage.

Our aim is to increase the number of children supported by sponsors and to seek out independent sources of income above and beyond this to improve the facilities at the orphanage.

Increasing the amount of funds we currently receive for the maintenance of Ashanilaya will become more urgent in the coming months. In the wake of the tsunami that hit coastal areas of India in December 2004, MASARD set up a temporary facility in Tamil Nadu to care for children orphaned by the disaster. This temporary facility will be closing in the coming months and MASARD expects that 10-12 children will need to be brought to Bangalore to be cared for at Ashanilaya.
